Multicultural Food Sovereignty Network

The MFSCN fosters a community-driven, equitable food system that promotes self-sustainable farms, food sovereignty, and informed, cooperative choices.

In partnership with Michigan Opioid Prescribing Engagement Network (MIOPEN), we are working to prevent chronic opioid use and opioid-related harms in Flint. Our volunteers assist as host site throughout the county. We encourage the community to bring unused/unwanted medication to the take back events.

Flint Eats

Flint Eats is an innovative mobile community app, developed to increase knowledge of healthy food in our area.

The Michigan Healthy Mom (MI MOM) App

The MI MOM App aims to reduce pregnancy-related deaths and complications in the U.S. by providing pregnant women, healthcare providers, and supporters with reliable resources, guidance, and tools to promote safe and healthy pregnancies.

Nonprofit organization supporting at-risk youth in detention by providing mentoring, educational, social, and artistic programs that build social-emotional skills and help youth successfully reintegrate into the community.

Improve Hypertension Health Initiative (IHHI)

The IHHI is a Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring program designed to help individuals manage hypertension, improve heart health, and reduce the risk of complications through regular tracking, education, and support.
