The Michigan Food Sovereignty Collaborative Network (MFSCN)
creating a Black food ecosystem which promotes self-determination + cooperative actions that influence people to make educated + equitable choices within the food systems
Vision: The (integrated) vision for the future is of a more inclusive food system, with self-sustainable farms and food sovereignty. There is a restorative, moldable model of "food care and systems" that tends to the needs of families holistically: spirit, soul, body. The community is in harmony with nature and other lifeforms, and all have what they need to thrive and reused resources in abundance. There is improved quality of life, and peace and love reign supreme.
